Michael Bauman has been an IATSE 728 gaffer for over 25 years and is always interested in the blending of lighting technologies and the creative process. He is the co founder of LiteGear Inc and Lux Lighting. Some of his credits include Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Ford v Ferrari, Phantom Thread, Munich, Nightcrawler, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Ken Billington’s career spans more than 50 years. He has over 100 Broadway shows as well as the same number of tours and opera to his credit. He was the keynote speaker at Showlight 2005.
David Bishop is a BAFTA Award winning lighting designer who graduated with honours in lighting design from RADA and has worked extensively in television, live events and music for the last 20 years.
Dawn Chiang is an accomplished and award-winning lighting designer, Dawn Chiang has many credits to her name including the design for Zoot Suit, co-designer for Tango Pasion (Broadway); roundabout Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Club (Off Broadway); resident lighting designer, New York City Opera, and is mentor to students in designing for theatre.
Paule Constable is an associate director of the National Theatre and has designed productions for all the major UK companies including Warhorse and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night. She has received 5 Olivier awards, 2 Tony Awards, the Helpmann Award and numerous Critic Circle and Drama Desk awards.
Jane Dutton trained at LAMDA and began her career as a deputy electrician in producing theatres in London. Several years of freelancing as a programmer and relighter followed. Most recently she has spent eight years at the National Theatre as a senior lighting programmer.

Prema Mehta is a lighting designer with 15+ years experience. She is the founder of Stage Sight, working to improve representation across all offstage roles. Prema was nominated in the Theatre & Performance category at the H100 Awards, recognising the UK’s creative talent. She is a Fellow of ABTT and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Rajiv Pattani graduated from LAMDA in 2014 with qualifications in Stage Management and Technical Theatre. John Piper currently works full-time on BBC’s EastEnders soap drama as an LVS. His career started at Rose Bruford College, where he studied for a degree in lighting control. Since graduating in 2019, he has worked on a portfolio of theatre shows as a freelance lighting programmer and transitioned into the TV lighting industry; he also sits on the committee for the Society of Television Lighting & Design.
Aaron Porter has twelve years’ experience as a lighting designer and Broadway associate. Based in New York, he’s worked across the US and internationally on plays and musicals. He has been with Waitress since the Broadway opening in 2016.
Momena Saleem graduated from the Politecnico Di Milano, Italy with a Master’s degree specializing in lighting design and LED Technology. She is an international award-winning designer with experience working on projects in Europe, Middle East, and the Asia Pacific.
In 2020, she was named one of the 40under40 award winners by the Lighting Design Awards, London, which recognizes the world’s most talented and promising lighting designers. She is also the Women in Lighting ambassador of Pakistan.
